love where you live//

Living in Southern California is a blessing I often take for granted. I’ve spent the majority of my life here. I don’t know harsh winters, poor produce, or what it’s like to be landlocked. We complain about the cost of living or the constant traffic on the 55 and forget that it’s worth it!

Yesterday we made a few pj’s || that’s what phinn calls peanut butter and jelly sandwiches || hoped in the car and we were parked and at this perfect spot in under ten minutes.

The kids played it the water, built and crushed sand castles, && collected little treasures.

The day was beautiful and everyone is always happiest in the sunshine.

We left the beach with happy hearts and tired eyes. Everyone snuggled up for a great nap and woke up ready to play. Our evening included scooter riding, BBQing, some twinkle lights, and much needed baths. It was the perfect summer day- in January.
